ClipMaster is designed with your privacy as its top priority.
- Local Storage: All data created and used by this extension, including your clipboard history, settings, and preferences, is stored entirely locally on your own computer using the
chrome.storage.localAPI.
2. Data Collection and Transmission
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, clipboard history, or usage analytics to the developer or any third-party servers.
- No Developer Access: The developer of ClipMaster has absolutely no access to your data.
- No Analytics: The extension does not contain any tracking functionality or analytics scripts.
- Transmission: No data ever leaves your device unless you manually choose to export it to a file.
3. Permissions
ClipMaster requests a minimal set of permissions required for its core functionality:
storage: To save settings and your clipboard data locally.clipboardRead: To detect and save copied text/images when initiated by the user.offscreen/scripting: To manage the clipboard API and inject the floating UI seamlessly in the background.
These permissions are used solely for the purposes described in the Chrome Web Store listing and are never used to track you.
